  • A 'Tree Plantation Drive' ws organised by the NSS unit on July 21,2008 during which President of our College Capt. Dalbara Singh palnted a tree and inspired the students to plant more trees in order to reduce the over-increasing pollution and make life healthy.
  • The College NSS unit collected and donated RS.15000/- to Sant Baba Seechewal Ji for helping the Flood-affected victims in August 2008.
  • The NSS unit organized a seven days NSS camp in the college campus from October 1-7, 2009. On this occasion Dr. M.S. Bains, Director of NSS, Panjab University, Chandigarh was the chief guest. The three units of NSS were under the charge of NSS officers Mrs Gurinder Sandhu, Dr Lakhvir Singh Gill and Dr. Varinder Kaur.
  • The college NSS unit celebrated several important days during the academic year 2009-2010. These included Communal Harmony Day, International Literacy Day, International Peace Day, Flag Day, NSS day, World Human Rights day, AIDS day and so on.
  • On 14th August 2010, the inaugration of NSS was held. Principal Dr.(Mrs) Paramjit Kaur spoke on the motto and purpose of NSS.
  • Sadhbhavna Divas was celebrated by taking pledge on 20 August, 2010.
  • Van Mahotsav was celebrated on 24 August, 2010 and 200 plants were planted. Principal Dr.(Mrs) Paramjit Kaur spoke on the importance of tree plantation.
  • International Literacy day was celebrated jointly by NSS unit on 8 September, 2010.
  • NSS day was celebrated on 24 September,2010. 200 volunteers participated in the celebration.
  • On 1 October, 2010 NSS volunteers were made aware of the importance of Blood Donation camp through poster making competition.
  • Quami Ekta Week was celebrated from 19-26 November, 2010 with a series of lectures, cultural items and competitions.
  • A seven day NSS camp from 22-28 December, 2010 was organised in the College under the leadership of programme officers Prof. Gurinder Sandhu, Prof. Swaranjit Kaur and Dr. Lakhvir Singh Gill. The camp included extension lectures in various fields like health, hygiene, traffic rules and a rally to village Gureh.
  • Vanamahotsav week was celebrated from 1st to 7th July, 2011. Saplings were planted by the NSS society. The NSS wing also celebrated Independence Day, Sadhbhavana day, International Literacy day and Communal Harmony day. Students delivered speeches on respective topics.
  • NSS day was celebrated on 24th Sept, 2011. The NSS incharge Dr. Lakhvir Singh delivered a PPT on aims, objectives and importance of NSS.
  • N.S.S camp was organised from 1st to 7th Oct, 2011 under the guidance of programme officers Prof. Swaranjit Kaur, Dr Lakhvir Singh Gill, and Prof. Gagandeep Dharni. 150 volunteers participated in the camp. Dr Iqbaljit Kaur gave information regarding the ill- effects of the things that we use in daily life. Dr Rajinder Singh from government health centre, Sidhwan Khurd, provided information on first aid and causes, prevention and treatment of allergies. Traffic police incharge Gurcharan Singh and Havaldar Sukhdev Singh provided information about traffic rules.
  • Students took out an awareness rally at village Sidhwan Kalan about drug abuse, female foeticide and HIV/ AIDS.
  • S. Satnam Singh from Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle organised a lecture on Sikh history during the camp.
