Red Cross Society organized a one day camp on 22 December, 2010 in the college to make people aware about various diseases and distributed medicines to the rural people.
Red Cross Society organised a Rally to Village Sohian on 29 January, 2011.
Climate Change group and gardening club jointly organized a one day camp at the college in which cleanliness of the college and plantation of Australian Teak Tree was undertaken.
Red Cross unit works under the able guidance of Dr Iqbaljit Kaur.
Prof. Jaspreet Kaur Sidhu of Punjabi Department along with 6 students of the college attended the state level youth Red Cross training- cum- study camp at Kurukshetra from 14th to 19th Oct, 2011. The students also participated in declamation contests, quiz (written), poetry recitation and various cultural items regarding social evils. Ramandeep Kaur of BA –III secured the first position while Sukhpinder Kaur of BA-III got the third prize in the poetry recitation competition.
Red Cross unit of the college along with the NSS unit organised a rally to Sidhwan Kalan to aware the people of social evils on 4th Oct, 2011.
The Red Ribbon Club of the college celebrated World HIV/Aids day on 1st Dec, 2011. Dr Iqbaljit Kaur gave a presentation to enlighten the students about fatal diseases. The staff and the students put on red ribbons to spread awareness of the disease.
