National Cadet Corps (NCC) Session 2022-2023

➢ 19 Cadets celebrated 76th Independence Day by participating in Parade at Govt. Sen. Sec. School
Jagraon. The chief guest on this occasion was Daljeet Kaur ADC Jagraon. The cadets were awarded
with team trophy and certificates.
➢ In September 2022, 28 new cadets were enrolled in college NCC wing.
➢ From October 6, 2022 to October 13, 2022, 25 cadets of NCC attended CATC at SD College,
Moga.
➢ On October 31, 2022, 20 cadets celebrated National Unity Day to commemorate the birth
anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Oath was taken by the cadets to dedicate themselves to
preserve the unity, integrity and the security of the nation.
➢ On December 7, 2022, NCC unit observed Armed Forces Flag Day 2022. Token flags of Rs. 765/
were sold and amount donated to District Defense Services Welfare Officer, Ludhiana.
➢ On January 26, 2023, 22 cadets participated in Republic Day Parade at Govt. Sen. Sec. School,
Jagraon. Chief guest ADC Major Amit Sareen awarded the cadets with team trophy and participation
certificates.
➢ On February 12, 2023, 15 cadets appeared for BEE Examination at Guru Nanak College, Ferozepur.
➢ On February 19, 2023, 07 cadets appeared for CEE examination at MLM Sen. Sec. School,
Ferozepur.
 

Session 2021-2022

  • 53 cadets are enrolled in the NCC wing, Under supervision of Lt. Harpreet Kaur, NCC.
  • Col. Sohail B.S Kumar, Commanding Officer of 5 Punjab Girls BN NCC, Moga and S M Ram Rai Gujar and Hav. Harjinder Singh visited Khalsa College for Women Sidhwan Khurd. The college Principal Dr Rajwinder Kaur Hundal, Lieutenant Harpreet Kaur, Associate NCC officer and caretaker prof Harwinder Kaur welcomed them in the college campus. Commanding officer interacted with the cadets who are going to attend Annual Training Camp and for appearing in BEE and CEE exam. Major Alpana ADM Officer 5 Punjab Girls BN NCC, Moga also visited the college.

  • The NCC Cadets participated in 75th Independence Day parade held at Government Senior Secondary School, Jagraon on, The chief guest of the event was A.D.C. Nayan Jassal. To encourage and motivate the participants, SDM Jagraon Shri Vikas Heera awarded them with team trophy and certificates and also appreciated college Principal Dr. Rajwinder Kaur Hundal for being present each year at this event. NCC cadets also participated in Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Clean India Campaign etc.
  • A Cadet’s name was forwarded for youth exchange programme and cadets attended online training for SSB , Pre-RDC Camp at Malout, Annual Training Camp-66 and cadets also appeared in BEE and CEE exams.
  • On November 26, 2021, National Cadet Corps (NCC) day was celebrated.

Session 2019-2020

  • From 10-18 June, 2019, 10 cadets participated in All India Girls Trekking Expedition (AIGTE-2019) at Baijnath, Himachal Pardesh.
  • From 18- 27 June, 2019, 5 cadets participated in Thal Sena Camp (TSC) RD-2020 at GNE, Ludhiana.
  • From 24 June to 3 July, 2019, 21 cadets attended CATC-2019 at NCC academy Malout.
  • On 8 and 9 August 2019, 3 cadets attended rehearsals of Independence Day parade at Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Jagraon.
  • 26 new candidates are enrolled in NCC under the supervision of commanding officer Col. Anupinder Singh, 5PB Girls BN NCC, Moga.
  • From 5- 14 October, 2019, 5 cadets participated in RD-related camp at Malout.
  • On the occasion of Flag Day (7 December) Armed forces flag worth ₹ 4370 were sold among the staff and students so as to collect the funds from the people of India for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces Personnel.
  • 40 cadets participated in Republic Day Parade 2020 at Govt. Sen. Sec. School, Jagraon. Cadets were honoured with team trophy and participation certificates.
  • On 29 January, 2020 ANO Harpreet Kaur attended CO conference at NCC office Moga.
  • On 02 Feburary, 2020, 8 final year cadets appeared in CEE examination at Army Public School, Ferozepur Cantt.
  • On 16 Feburary, 2020, 17 cadets appeared in BEE examination at Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
  • During the lockdown period, under the supervision of Lt. Harpreet Kaur, 39 cadets have successfully completed the Integrated government online training (IGOT), Covid- 19. Cadets were trained about what precautions they need to take while distribution of food and medicines among the public.Cadets also registered themselves on Arogya Setu app launched by GOI for creating awareness among public regarding Covid-19.To utilize this quarantine in the productive way cadets were timely motivated to make short videos, audios, drawing ,poems etc. related to the current issue Covid-19.
