Seven Days NSS Camp, commenced at Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd (Ludhiana) on March 16, 2024. The theme of this camp is “Sawachh Bharat & Meri Maati Mera Desh”. The Camp was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Amandeep Kaur. College Shabad “De Shiva Varmohe” was recited to seek the blessings of the Almighty. NSS theme song was sung by NSS volunteers. Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal inspired the students to improve and protect the quality of natural environment and congratulated the volunteers for their enthusiastic participation in the camp. She also encouraged the volunteers to inculcate the habit of serving the society in their daily routine. After this the students were acquainted with the aims & objectives of the Camp. NSS Programme officer Dr.Inderit Kaur enlightened the volunteers on the significance of the theme adopted for the camp. Committees were constituted and students were assigned tasks to be completed during the camp. NSS Volunteers undertook cleanliness of the college campus and lawns.
