As per the directions of College Development Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh and under the able guidance of Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal (Addl. Charge) the Literary Society, NCC Unit and NSS Units of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd observed Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on March 22-23, 2024 by organizing various events to commemorate the life and contribution of the Martyrs. On March 22, 2024 a Cycle Rally was organized at village Sidhwan Khurd in which students fervently participated. A symposium was held in which students shared their views on the legacy and contemporary significance bequeathed by the patriots. Plantation Drive was carried out and rally to create awareness on Drug Menace and other social evils was taken out at village Sidhwan Khurd on March 23, 2024. Students shouted slogans holding placards in their hands to sensitize the community. Dr. Amandeep Kaur praised the efforts of the students and incharges. She inspired them to follow the path shown by the revolutionaries as a true tribute to them.
