Under the able guidance of Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal (Addl. Charge), PG Department of Political Science and NSS Units of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd organized an Extension Lecture on ‘Voter Awareness’. The Resource Person S. Jaswant Singh, Block Development officer (BLO) from Jagraon enlightened the students on the significance of making their votes and their right as well as obligation to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections for nurturing the vibrant nature of Indian democracy. Prof. Karamdeep Kaur, HoD, PG Department of Political Science conducted the proceedings of the programme effectively. Dr. Inderjit Kaur, NSS Programme Officer proposed formal vote of thanks.
