KCW observed Red Ribbon Week

Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Amandeep kaur (Additional Incharge) , Red Ribbon Club of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd observed Red Ribbon Week, held on every year from 23^rd to 31^st October. On this occasion, Mr. Gurjeet Singh presented a PPT on the history and importance of Red Ribbon Week. Mrs. Hardeep Kaur welcomed, Guest of Honour Dr. Rameshinder Singh by whom a lecture was delivered to make the students aware about evils of Drug Menace. Poster Making and Slogan Writing competitions on the theme ‘Drug Menace’ and ‘Blood Donation’ were organised. In these, first, second, third and consolation positions were bagged by Manpreet Kaur (M. Com. 2^nd), Jasleen Kaur (BA B.Ed. 4^th), Mandeep Kaur (BA B.Ed. 4^th) and Gagandeep Kaur (BA B.Ed. 1^st) respectively. The judges of these competitions were Dr. Gagandeep Dharni and Mrs. Ramandeep kaur. The Guest of Honour gave away the prizes to the winners.
