Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd premier educational institution for women paid a tribute to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. Amandeep Kaur (Addl. Charge) by organizing a programme to mark the occasion on 16.11.2023 in which staff and students participated. Neelam,B.A.-III and Komalpreet Kaur B.A-II presented poems eulogizing the exceptional courage and sacrifice of the youngest martyr from Punjab. Manpreet Kaur, M.Com-II gave information about his life and ideology. Dr. Amandeep Kaur addressed the audience and acquainted all to the unique aspects of S. Kartar Singh Sarabha’s life and his unflinching determination at the tender age of 19 that served as an inspiration for future revolutionaries. A short video was shown to revive his memory. Dr. Gagandeep Dharni shared a brief biographical sketch of the martyr and presented the formal vote of thanks. Dr. Geetanjali Arora prepared the students for various items.
