Sidhwan Group of Institutions collectively celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji under the aegis of SGHGU Hari Trust on January 30, 2024. Bhog ceremony of the Sehaj Path was conducted to celebrate the occasion. Shabad Kirtan, Kavishri, religious songs and speeches by staff and students were presented to pay homage to Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji. The atmosphere was imbued with religious fervour as the congregation commemorated the life, contribution and legacy of the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. Principal, G.H.G. Harparkash College of Education and Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Officiating Principal GHG Institute of Law, Dr. Shweta Dhand and Mrs. Daljeet Kaur, Principal Sikh Girls Senior Secondary School paid homage and revered the sacrifice of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Honourable Senior Member of SGHGU Hari Trust S. Harmail Singh Sidhu graced the event to venerate the supreme sacrifice of the Guru and enlightened the congregation about the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and stressed on the need for contemporary youth to follow His message for social reform.
