Khalsa College for Women, SidhwanKhurd organised Rangoli-making and Digital Poster-making competitions

The IT Club of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, under the able guidance of             Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal (Additional Charge) organized Rangoli-making and Digital Poster-making competitions on Oct 28, 2024. The goal of these events was to raise awareness about celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali. A total of 18 enthusiastic students participated in the competitions. In the Rangoli-making competition, Simrandeep Kaur (BA-III) bagged first place, Ravneet Kaur (BCA-I) was second, and Navdeep Kaur (BCA-I) bagged third position. For the Digital Poster-making competition,Harmandeep Kaur (BCA-I), Sukhvir Kaur (BCA-I) and Navdeep Kaur bagged first, second and third positions respectively. The chief guest, Dr. Navdip Kaur and the judges for the event Dr.Gagandeep Dharni and Mrs. Baldev Kaur Mann, congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the Computer Science and Applications faculty in organizing the competitions. The primary objective of these events was to encourage students to express their creativity while promoting the importance of sustainable practices during the festival, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment in their Diwali celebrations.
