On December 26, 2024 under the esteemed guidance of SGHGU Hari Trust and Principal, Dr. Satinder Kaur, the fourth day of the NSS Camp was a remarkable day dedicated to health and community welfare. The day was also marked by the observance of Veer Baal Diwas, paying tribute to the unparalleled courage and sacrifices of the Sahibzadas, adding a deeper sense of purpose to the activities. A Health Check up Camp was conducted by esteemed doctors from Dayanand Medical College (DMC), Ludhiana, including Dr. Tanya Gupta, Dermatologist, and Dr. Muskan Chaudhary, Gynaecologist, along with their team, for the benefit of students and the community. The event began with a warm welcome extended by the Principal to the dignitaries. Saplings and mementos were presented to the guests as tokens of appreciation, symbolizing growth and collaboration. Ms. Pooja Sharma delivered a session on maintaining a healthy diet, stressing the importance of balanced nutrition in leading a healthy life. Dr. Muskan Chaudhary followed with an informative lecture on Menstrual Hygiene, raising awareness about women’s health and dispelling myths related to menstruation. Both sessions were highly interactive and beneficial for students. Dr. Harmail Singh esteemed Trust Member delivered an impactful talk on food adulteration, educating the attendees about its risks and the need for vigilance in daily consumption habits. Dr. Inderjit Kaur efficiently conducted the stage proceedings, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow of events. The health check up camp provided valuable consultations and screenings, not only for students but also for villagers, promoting awareness about skin and gynaecological health. The interaction with medical professionals emphasized the importance of preventive care and health management, making it a truly inclusive initiative. The presence of Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Principal of GHG Harparkash College of Education and Dr. Shweta Dhand, Principal of GHG Institute of Law, Sidhwan Khurd lent prestige and significance to this collaborative community effort.
