National Youth Day observed at Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd

Under the aegis of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust, Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm and spirit. The event was organized by the NSS and Red Ribbon Club to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and inspire young minds to follow his ideals. The program commenced with a pledge-taking ceremony led by the NSS and Red Ribbon volunteers, emphasizing the values of unity, integrity, and social responsibility. A motivational video, presented by Muskan, a student of B.Sc. B.Ed –I, highlighted the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, inspiring students to strive for excellence and serve society. The video received widespread appreciation for its insightful content. The Principal of the college, Dr. Satinder Kaur, addressed the gathering, encouraging students to embrace discipline, self-confidence, and commitment to community service. Her words motivated the students to become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow. A total of 41 NSS volunteers and Red Ribbon Club members actively participated in the event. The event was successfully coordinated by the NSS Programme officers, Dr. Inderjit Kaur and Dr. Amandeep Kaur, along with Mrs. Hardeep Kaur, the in-charge of the Red Ribbon Club. The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving the students inspired and committed to upholding the ideals of youth leadership and societal contribution.
