Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, commemorated National Science Day on February 28, 2025, under the patronage of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujjagar Hari Trust. The event featured an insightful address by Dr. Mehar Singh Sidhu (PAU, Ludhiana), who highlighted scientific innovations and dedicated research. Honorable Trust Member S. Harmail Singh Sidhu also graced the occasion, inspiring students toward scientific exploration. The event included inter-college Power Point Presentation and Poster Making Competitions with participation from 07 colleges. The winners were honored with prizes and certificates, while all participants received certificates of participation. A thought-provoking mime on "Nuclear War vs Nuclear Medicines" was performed by science students. Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur emphasized the importance of scientific inquiry, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks. As a tribute to National Science Day, a sapling was planted under the Eco Club, promoting environmental sustainability.
