Under the aegis of SGHGU Hari Trust, Sidhwan Khurd and the able guidance of the College Principal, Dr.Satinder Kaur, Education Department celebrated ‘World Autism Awareness Day’ on 4th April 2025. The college is celebrating 75 years of excellence in Education. Director, Darpan center for Autism Dr.Niranjan Kumar was the Resource person Dr.Parmjit Kaur HoD Department of Education delivered the Welcome address. Dr.Niranjan Kumar said the purpose of Celebrating of the day is to create awareness and support special children. He shared information on techniques of speech therapy, Special Education, Occupational Therapy and Specific evaluation strategies that can be employed. Principal Dr.Satinder Kaur extended heartfelt thanks to the esteemed guest for gracing the occasion with their valuable presence and enlightening talk on autism, offering meaningful insights and ways to support those affected. A total of 120 students participated in the function.
