Under the esteemed patronage of SGHGU Hari Trust and able guidance of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd organized a vibrant Farewell Fiesta on April 12, 2025, to bid a warm and emotional goodbye to the outgoing students. The celebration began with a floral welcome of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur by the students and faculty members. The event was a colorful blend of emotions and entertainment. Students expressed their heartfelt memories through poems on college life, songs celebrating friendship and soulful shayari capturing nostalgic moments. The cultural segment featured a mesmerizing Rajasthani dance and song performances along with energetic group dances that lit up the stage. To engage the audience further, various fun-filled games, a poised ramp walk and a question-answer round were held adding spark and excitement to the event. These segments were judged by an esteemed panel consisting of Dr. Balwinder Kaur, Prof. Rajni, Dr. Ramanpreet Kaur and Prof. Harjeet Kaur. The farewell titles were conferred upon the most graceful and confident participants. Kirandeep Kaur (B.Com III) was crowned Miss Farewell, Sukhjeet Kaur (B.Sc III) secured the First Runner-Upand Manpreet Kaur (B.Com III) was named Second Runner-Up. In a touching moment, Ms. Sukhjeet Kaur Sran of B.Sc III delivered a heartfelt farewell speech, expressing gratitude on behalf of all final-year students. As a token of love and appreciation, all outgoing students were presented with momentos and captured memorable moments in photographs with their teachers.Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur addressed the gathering with inspiring words, urging students to uphold the values learned at college and extended her best wishes for a successful and fulfilling future.The stage proceedings were elegantly conducted by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, with lively support from Ms. Taranpreet Kaur and Ms. Garima of B.Com II.The celebration concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. GagandeepDharni, appreciating the efforts of organizers, participants and the management for making the event a grand success.
