Under the patronage of SGHGU Hari Trust and visionary leadership of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd in collaboration with Procter and Gamble (P&G) with official training partners Right Side Story organized an enlightening workshop entitled ‘Personality Development’ on April 16, 2025. This event was held as part of the college ongoing 75 years of excellence celebrations. The resource person for the session was Miss Kritika, a renowned Queer Affirmative Psychologist and Co-founder at Brain Candy Therapy. Dr. Satinder Kaur, Principal of the college extended a heartfelt welcome to the resource person.Miss Kritika delivered an insightful and engaging session focused on the holistic development of young women. By highlighting the strong connection between physical activity and mental health, she encouraged students to adopt balanced lifestyles. She discussed myths surrounding menstruation, aiming to break taboos and promote mind positivity. She stressed the power of a smile, the importance of confidence and being mindful of one’s digital footprint. She urged students to maintain a responsible online presenceand remember that even small actions can lead to significant impacts. As part of the initiative of personal hygiene, sanitary pads and thoughtful goodies were distributed among the students. A sapling and momento were presented to the resource person by Vice Principal Dr. Navdip Kaur. The session was meticulously conducted and anchored by Prof. Rupa Kaur Rai, IQAC Convenor. This event reaffirms the college’s commitment to empowering women through awareness, knowledge and character building.
