Inauguration of the Academic Session 2025–26 at Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd

Under the aegis of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust and the able guidance of Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, the academic session 2025–26 at Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd was inaugurated with reverence and enthusiasm on August 4, 2025. The event held special significance as the college is celebrating its 75th year of establishment this session. The session was inaugurated with the recitation of the Sukhmani Sahib Pathh at the Gurudwara Sahib within the campus. Students actively participated in the Pathh and also performed soulful Kirtan followed by Ardaas and the distribution of Prasad, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere to begin the new academic session. The Student Induction Programme along with the first Weekly Assembly was held at Guru Nanak Bhawan, marking a meaningful beginning to the academic session with a sense of unity and purpose. Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur warmly welcomed the newly admitted students and addressed them with inspiring words, highlighting the institution’s legacy, discipline and commitment to academic and moral excellence. The Principal formally introduced the students to the distinguished faculty members elucidating their scholarly credentials and pedagogical specializations. Dr. Gagandeep Dharni and Prof. Karamdeep Kaur conducted the stage proceedings with grace and coordination. Laddoos were distributed to all to celebrate the beginning of the new session. The inauguration concluded on an optimistic and spiritually fulfilling note, setting a purposeful tone for the academic year ahead.
