Khalsa College for Women, SidhwanKhurd,premier rural women college of the region organized 7 Days Student Induction Programme for fresher students from August 04-11,2025. The purpose of the programme was to acquaint the new students to the Code of Conduct,ethos and culture of the institution and to share information about the student support facilities available in the college. It also served as an occasion to formally introduce the faculty and encourage interaction among fresher students .The teacher incharges of various clubs, societies, cells and committees actively engaged in organizing student activities and deputed to provide assistance to students for their overall personality development addressed the students and elaborately discussed the eligibility conditions, rules and regulations for participation in activities. Students were told about beneficial schemes and scholarships that could be availed.The feedback process and grievance redressal mechanism were shared. The Induction Programme also gave a glimpse of the avenues and future opportunities that would be offered to the students. Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur motivated the students to utilize their time fruitfully by availing the chances .She congratulated Dr Inderjit Kaur, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur and Prof. Karamdeep Kaur the incharges of the Induction Programme for the successful competition of the event.
