Under the directions of the Department of Youth Services and as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign, the NSS Unit, NCC, Eco Club, Red Ribbon Club and Social Science Forum of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic spirit. The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag in the college campus by the worthy Principal Dr. Satinder Kaur amid the fluttering of colourful flags that adorned the surroundings and enhanced the festive atmosphere. On this occasion, she addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of the day and motivating students to uphold the values of freedom, unity and national pride. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, who expressed their love for the nation through their active involvement. The celebrations concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, filling the campus with an air of patriotism.
