Under the aegis of Sri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari trust, Sidhwan khurd and the able guidance of the principal Dr. Satinder Kaur, the Science Department of Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan khurd organized an educational trip to Kurukshetra on 27 September 2025. In this one-day excursion, the students visited prominent scientific and historical sites including the Kalpana Chawla Planetarium where they explored interactive exhibits and watched a sky show about astronomy. At Dharohar Museum, students gained insight into the rich heritage and traditions of Haryana. Further, the group explored the Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre, a unique blend of mythology and science, followed by a visit to the Krishna Museum where they viewed rare artifacts related to Lord Krishna and Mahabharata. The trip concluded with a serene visit to the sacred Brahma Sarovar, offering the students a moment of reflection at one of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites. A total of 60 students participated in the tour which successfully combined learning with experience, fostering scientific temper and cultural appreciation among students.
