Under the aegis of Shri Guru Hargobind Ujagar Hari Trust, the Sidhwan Group of Institutions celebrated Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurpurab and Basant Panchami with great devotion and enthusiasm on February 07, 2026. The programme was organized in collaboration with the Transport Department of the Trust. The religious proceedings commenced with a Sehaj Pathh at the Gurudwara Sahib, followed by melodious Shabad Kirtan and Ardaas, which created a spiritually enriching atmosphere. The sacred hymns reflected the teachings, sacrifices and values of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and inspired everyone to follow the path of courage, righteousness and service. The occasion was graced by the presence of Honourable Trust Secretary S. Pritam Singh Johal and Member S. Harmail Singh Sidhu, whose guidance and blessings added dignity to the celebrations. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished Principals from the Sidhwan Group of Institutions, including Mrs. Daljit Kaur, Principal, Sikh Girls Senior Secondary School; Dr. Satinder Kaur, Principal, Khalsa College for Women; Ms. Sandeep Kaur, Principal, GHG Public School; Dr. Shweta Dhand, Principal, GHG Institute of Law and Dr. G. Pavan Kumar, Principal, GHG Institute of Pharmacy, Sidhwan Khurd. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of Langar, symbolizing equality, humility and the spirit of selfless service. The event strengthened the values of unity, devotion and cultural harmony among all present.
