As per the directions of Director Youth Services, Punjab the students of
Khalsa College for Women Sidhwan Khurd participated in AAROHAN,
2026 , National level Youth Festival and Viksit Jammu and Kashmir
Young Leadership Dialogue Programme organised by Government of
Jammu and Kashmir and Director Youth Services and Sports, from May
11 to 14 2026 at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre,
Srinagar. Pawanpreet Kaur, NSS Volunteer of the college won best
photography award and medal in 'Hackathon Representative'
programme. It is worth mentioning that 25 students from all over
Punjab took part in this National Youth Festival. It was a proud moment
when the college was felicitated with a special award and medal in this
event. Principal, Dr. Satinder Kaur congratulated the victorious student,
her parents and praised the efforts of Dr. Inderjit Kaur, & Dr. Amandeep
Kaur NSS Programme Officers for the success. She said that such
outstanding achievements not only bring accolades to the college but
also inspire other students to earn fame in future endeavours.
